Medical, Nursing and Public Health Volunteering and Internships

Volunteers and interns can join several medical work options through our health and care volunteering and internships program. This includes various opportunities, such as nursing studies. You may choose to participate in clinical work, public health work, or both.
Furthermore, we tailor your tasks based on your experience and studies. This way, you can maximize your placement’s impact.
Typically, working hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. However, your exact schedule depends on the specific tasks and location. During your placement, you will gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact through medical work in local communities.
On weekends, you can join our volunteer safari and tour groups to explore African wildlife. Alternatively, you might climb Mt. Kilimanjaro or relax on Zanzibar’s beaches.

Additionally, volunteers and interns advocate in schools and communities. You may work with target groups such as sports clubs, women’s groups, and corporate teams.
